Revealing Hidden Intelligence

Each of the Birth Orders has its own way of thinking. Onlies organize, First Borns research, Second Borns evaluate, Third Borns compare and Fourth Borns analyze. Each of these ways of thinking at some point brought negative reactions during childhood making the children hide thinking patterns.

The Only might have been teased about organizing everything. The First Born might have been laughed at for quoting others. The Second Born might have been corrected for evaluating (criticizing) so much. The Third Born might have been told to stop comparing and the Fourth Born told to make up his or her mind. These reactions made a child hide thinking patterns not only from others but subconsciously from themselves.

These memories put a limit on intelligence. Sometimes this limit is experienced when a person looks back realizing that he or she had rejected a thought that should have been acknowledged. It restricts the use of intelligence.

Therapy for hiding thinking is to say to yourself, “Forget the memories that make you hide your thinking” to set thinking free. The other half of the therapy is “Remember the memories that let you hide your thinking” so you can keep thoughts to yourself when you know they will not be accepted.
